Cumberland's general packaging & assembly division, PAK-IT-RITE, has been in operation since 1961. We provide packaging solutions for a range of leading Australian companies.

General packaging & assembly is spread over two locations in Sydney's western suburbs, with a combined capacity of 8,000 square metres. This makes us a particularly flexible option for those high volume jobs requiring quick turnaround times.

Pak-it-Rite offers secondary packaging, light assembly and rectification work including:

Custom-made pieces are tailored to suit customer requirements as we can cut, sew, pack, palletize and distribute any type of material to their individual specifications - all at the one site. Our particular area of expertise is making custom-made leather safety gear, including a wide range of gloves, hoods, coats and aprons as well as many other WorkCover required items.

We have a wide range of machinery at our dispersal including:

• plain sewers
• overlockers (2 and 5 thread, rolled edge and safety stitch)
• walking foot sewers
• button and button hole machines
• leather machines
• bar tackler
• heavy duty polypropylene machine
• continuous chain stitching machine
• twin needle machine
